Norwich-based Team CCN look forward to Mud Sweat and Gears mountain bike series

The fruitful co-operation with Norwich City College is set to continue – the college’s sports therapy students gain experience working with, and on, team members, while the team get sponsorship and a base at events. Team CCN also has help from Norwich bike shop Streetlife and Nutri-Support
The team gained their first woman member when Alex Nichol joined this month, having just finished third in 18+ women’s category in the Winter Series.

The weather did it to us again this year; however it didn’t stop Team CCN grabbing two top spots on the podium in what was a fantastic effort. As for the Therapy Unit, well we had a less exciting time of it. The rain always kills business stone dead, which is interesting as the need for massage in such conditions increases, but it’s also important for competitors to keep dry and keep warm. Still my students enjoyed the experience and more importantly learnt something from it which is what we are all about.

Fantastic effort from the boys this weekend with Team CCN picking up a 1st in the 10 hour pairs, 2nd in the 6 hour pairs and a 2nd in the 6 hour solo.
